October 5, 2007 — Marathon Petroleum Company LLC would like to thank the more than 250 local residents, community organizations and government officials who attended our open houses Aug. 27 and 28 in southwest Detroit.

The open houses at St. Andrew & Benedict Church and the Odd Fellows Hall provided attendees an opportunity to discuss the proposed expansion project at our Detroit refinery, ask questions and meet face-to-face with members of the Marathon team. There were many excellent comments and questions posed at each event.
