Marathon Files Revised Air Quality Permit Application with the MDEQ
March 26, 2008 – Marathon Petroleum Company LLC has filed a revised air quality permit application with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. The MDEQ has scheduled a public information meeting about the expansion project from 3-7 p.m. April 16 in the gymnasium of the Kemeny Center, 2260 South Fort Street, Detroit.
The public may submit comments about the revised draft permit to the MDEQ from March 26 to April 30. The MDEQ will hold a public hearing about the draft permit from 5:30-9 p.m. April 30 in the Kemeny Center gymnasium.
Marathon modified the revised draft permit based on public comments received on its original application.
