Marathon Pipe Line LLC Receives Permit Approval from the Michigan Public Service Commission

On June 26, 2007 Marathon Pipe Line LLC (MPL) received authority from the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) to build and operate a new 29-mile section of pipeline in Monroe and Wayne counties.

Although MPL is still considering the viability of the proposed Detroit Heavy Oil Upgrade Project, receiving approval from the MPSC is a necessary step in the decision-making process.
